Yes you must see part 2, very good movie. Also, Christopher Reeve worked out hard for this part. That's all him under that suit, no body padding to make him look buffed at all.

2024-09-23 00:58:48 +0000 UTCThis movie was filmed along with a Superman 2, that’s why you got the Zod introduction. This movie was supposed to end on a cliffhanger, but the studio shut down production so they cobbled together an ending. Once this was a hit they wanted Superman 2 but scrapped most of what had been filmed to get out of paying the director, Marlon Brando and John Williams. That’s why they have 2 cuts of Superman 2 the version that got released and a version made out of all the scrapped footage. Both are great movies with significant differences. I knew the guy who played Otis in this we used the same vet.
