CHRISTMAS HISTORY: Supposedly, in the mid-1800s a German man named Hans Greiner began producing glass ornaments in the shape of fruits and nuts based on traditional Christmas Tree ornaments. He was a descendent of the guy with same name who'd established in the 1500s the 1st glassworks in Germany. This set the stage for glass Christmas 🎄 ornaments as we know them. NOW, HERE EE GO: Clearly, at some unknown point in time, the family changed their name to Gruber. And Hans of the 1980s ended up at a Nakatomi Plaza Xmas Christmas party, clearly believing he was entitled to the glass ornament family fortune kept there... MORE EVIDENCE DIE HARD IS A CHRISTMAS MOVIE. 😉
