Weekly Progress #1

I've realized I keep you guys in the dark regarding progress and what's being done.
So I'm going to start putting out weekly progress reports for projects to keep you all informed.

Most of the time has been spent spiriting and chipping away at new areas and systems.
Our process looks a little something like this
Sketch > Pixel line art (Sketch is downscaled alot) > Colors > Shading
This process takes a long while so as you'll imagine.
While doing that we also have to tackle shiny sprites, and special sprites for a handful of pogemon.
The current shiny sprites are being made to be extra special as I kind of hate how the base games make them just simple color swaps.

Special sprites are being done exclusively for trainers of significance (gym leaders, Rivals, Story relevant characters and later on 1 trainer of each type).

On top of all that I've resprited the exteriors for all areas before the new ones to give visual consistency based on improvements to sprites and such. Back sprites are also being done/redone at a steady pace. This all ended up taking a lot longer than expected and I'm working on it every day to try and get something out as fast as possible.

Again sorry for the lack of timely updates and piss all info on what's going on.
