I graduated in ‘86. When I was in elementary school in the ‘70’s a lot of girls had a crush on the Gym Teacher (Mr D). Turns out so did Ms. B , the violin teacher. I took private lessons from her on Saturday’s at 11am. At least twice during those private lessons, instead of having the lessons (which I hated) we went to Mr D’s house , once following him (I don’t remember for how long. ) I never told my parents, and thinking back I remember being happy to NOT be playing scale after scale. In high school Mr D became one of the Gym Teachers (I didn’t have him) He was later dismissed after running away with a senior and getting married. Beyond that I had a Business Law Teacher who sold weed. We all knew it. Years later my Mom called and said there was a teacher arrested for selling drugs to students. I immediately named him, my Mom’s response. “How is it that every one of my children KNEW about this, and never said a word”.

Also I wanted to say, I have been really having a hard time figuring out my path in life and had always had teaching in my heart. The more I hear you talking about it the more I get inspired to get back to school and finish the necessary steps to be able to teach. I definitely don't plan on letting any kids throw any parties at my house but hopefully being a Certified Recovery Coach I can teach them a bit on the side how the decisions they might make now can make them as burnt out as I am today. ☺️ Thanks for all you both do. You guys are just such a joy to listen to.
