Pittsburgh Regionals Rental + Export
Added 2023-09-11 14:34:49 +0000 UTCHey all, here's the team I used to finish second at the Pittsburgh Regional Championships! A few notes on the rental:
-Chi-Yus attack IV is not optimal, it's one or two points above minimum because I initially caught it for Hartford and I was on a time crunch
-Flutter Manes attack IV is SUPER not optimal, but I didn't expect to do well and also wanted to use the Shiny Marked Flutter Mane I caught awhile ago.

A few quick notes on the EV spreads:
-Flutter Mane is EV'd to outspeed Landorus in tailwind and to survive Iron Hands Heavy Slam after a terastalization
-Chi-Yu and Amoonguss are the same spreads I brought to Worlds, I forget what they're EV'd for
-Iron Hands is EVd to have favorable rolls into Urshifu with Wild Charge, maxed out special bulk, and the rest in speed
-Landorus is EVd to outspeed Jolly Chien-Pao and Timid Flutter Mane after an Icy Wind, to survive modest booster energy tera fairy moonblast from flutter mane, and the rest is put into attack
-Urshifu was initially EVd to survive specs dazzling gleam from flutter mane without either Pokemon terastalizing but I dropped some bulk for attack because I was worried about Torkoal. The speed is enough to outspeed adamant Chien-Pao and Modest Flutter Mane after Icy Wind.

Amazing run what was going through you mind after going 1-0 in the final , game 2 was amazing and must have been so draining to go to timer and I felt game three he read your game plan really well, what do you think you could have done differently in games 2 and 3 ?

2023-09-11 21:42:41 +0000 UTCSafety goggles SD Urshifu along with some pivoting cores were some of the interesting cores I saw at worlds that didn't make it to top cuts. But seeing you do this well seems to prove its potential! Happy to see it and Congrats on the amazing run:)
