Hey all! This is the explanation, rental code, and EV spreads of the team I used to finish 13th at EUIC and 1st at Orlando. I really like the team and think it's incredibly strong, so I hope y'all enjoy using it.

Note, this is my actual in-game team so some attack IVs aren't optimal and the levels match what I actually had. For a more ideal version, you can use this: https://pokepast.es/5a0fffb54b8f5663
I started this team with Amoonguss. I began building late in February, and at the time there were almost no Amoonguss with this moveset. I knew that in order for Amoonguss to succeed it needed Protect, but I also thought that sludge bomb was extremely strong with all the ogerpon-wellspring, rillaboom, and grass teras. I decided to drop Pollen Puff, giving up on healing in favor of damage. Amoonguss was by far the MVP of both tournaments.
Some notes on the specific set - I think Sitrus Berry is the best Amoonguss item by far. While Rocky Helmet has some uses (and other options like mental herb exist), the Sitrus Berry extends Amoonguss' lifespan so much. Tera Fairy Amoonguss is trending upwards because of how well it shuts down calm mind raging Bolt, but in my opinion Tera Water was the best on this team as resisting fire, ice, and water was important after terastalizing, and getting a steel resistance instead of weakness was important vs Iron Crown and to some extent Gholdengo.
I spent a long, long time on these Amoonguss EVs - like, an entire week just on this one EV spread. It's unconventional for a few reasons. First, Amoonguss is using 4 speed EVs. This might not seem weird, but it actually was a huge deal. No other Amoonguss ran 4 speed EVs because with this much (51 stat) you actually speed tie the slowest Ursaluna Bloodmoon. For this reason, most Amoonguss run 50 speed stat (one slower than Ursaluna-BM or 48 speed stat to underspeed regular Ursaluna. I wanted my Amoonguss to be able to sludge bomb before other Amoonguss could spore or pollen puff though, so I ran 51 - and I outsped every single Amoonguss I played against.
Next, the defenses. Normally Amoonguss EVs to survive either Adamant Chien-Pao Icicle Crash, or two Landorus-i Earth Powers. My Amoonguss is unique in that it survives neither (safely). The big attacks I wanted to survive were physical, but I wanted enough special bulk to take random special attacks decently well, so I settled on this split. It survives Helping Hand Psycho Cut Sharpness Gallade in Psychic Terrain after a tera, ogerpon ivy-cudgel most of the time, and tera fire ogerpon most ofthe time in the rain. On the special side, it has decent odds of surviving helping hand expanding force from special attack boosting iron crown most of the time depending on how much special attack they run.
I added Incineroar next because it's the best Pokemon ever. This would form the other half of my defensive backbone. The moves are standard, but there are still some unique choices. First, Safety Goggles as I wanted 2+ mons immune to spore. Despite having Goggles, I also have a tera type of grass. This is because I wanted a tera type that resisted water for Urshifu/Ogerpon, meaning my only options were water, dragon, or grass. I also found myself pressured to terastalize in front of Landorus-i often, meaning grass was the best choice (grass also walls both Ogerpons stabs as opposed to water). I did use tera grass to block spore throughout my runs after my item was knocked off - this is especially useful vs the Incineroar/Landorus-i/Amoonguss core.
The EVs are solid - I gave Incineroar enough speed to hit exactly 90 speed stat, which I wanted to 1) outspeed other Incineroar and 2) hit 180 speed stat in tailwind, outspeeding Tornadus and Ogerpon. This is equal to exactly half of my Flutter Manes speed stat (180) so I know if Flutter Mane outspeeds something, Incineroar will also outspeed in Tailwind and the reverse as well. The defense is to survive two Jolly Chien-Pao Sacred Swords after intimidate, and the special defense lets me survive tera fairy specs moonblast from flutter mane and three bleakwinds from Tornadus. This is more a general spread rather than a specific tailored one like Amoonguss.
I added Urshifu next - I wanted a water type to complete the fire water grass core and I also wanted a Pokemon that could naturally outspeed Flutter Mane and Chien-Pao. While some people are opting for defensive tera types, I stuck with water as I didn't have a chien-pao to raise my damage output. The moves are standard, but the EVs are unique. I wanted my Urshifu to be as slow as possible, so I could always U-turn after other Urshifu. This is because I didn't have many Pokemon on my team that could take surging strikes, and because u-turning second allows you to see what Pokemon gets sent in before making your switch. With the extra EVs, I invested heavily in my special bulk to give Urshifu the best odds possible of surviving Thunderclap. I never got OHKOd by a thunderclap even in practice but I did live with exactly 1 HP twice in tournament.
Next I knew I wanted Flutter Mane, as it's one of the best Pokemon and gives me a strong special attacker, but the specific set was actually really hard to find. The main set for most of the leadup to EUIC was speed booster icy wind with taunt, but that didn't fit here. The main alternative though was choice specs, and I wanted my Flutter Mane to have Protect in order to make it easier to preserve with Incineroar and Amoonguss. I decided on booster special attack which had heavily fallen out of favor due to the inflexibility of the booster energy and the lack of power compared to specs, but it was incredibly strong here. Flutter Mane served two roles: as an early game breaker against teams that didnt have good resistances or couldnt trade well, and as an end game boss battle once the opposing team was weakened. With Incineroar, Amoonguss, and Tornadus supporting it, it performed incredibly well for me.
The EVs gave me a lot of trouble. This is the slowest I think Flutter Mane can afford to go, hitting 180 stat to outspeed Tornadus and Ogerpon, with enough special attack to get a bonus point from the modest nature and also get the special attack boost. The defense EVs I had left to work with were difficult - ideally flutter would survive chien-pao icicle crash, but it just wasn't possible. I settled on a split with HP and Defense that would give me a small chance to survive adamant and a decent chance to survive jolly icicle crash, but didn't fully optimize around this as I wanted to make sure I survived powerful special moves like meteor beam glimmora. Overall the spread worked really well for me, and I don't have any complaints.
I added Torn next. I was really iffy on using it, but I thought that with Incineroar and Amoonguss I had good tools against trick room, and I liked the idea of having some explicit speed control especially against opposing tailwind teams. In the end, what I learned about Torn is that it's extremely strong as a bleakwind storm spammer. Flying moves hit a lot of things for super effective right now and don't have many resistances, and supporting torn with Incineroar and Amoonguss gave it ample time to click bleakwind storm. Rain Dance was mandatory as it not only protected Amoonguss from fire moves and boosted Urshifus damage output, but it made bleakwind 100% accurate. I tried really hard to get rain up before bleakwinding, but towards the end of both tournaments I got lazy and started using it without rain and I missed a whole lot. Despite this, I'm glad I had Torn - it made certain matchups (Ogerpon-H Grassy Glide Spam, Tailwind Hyepr Offense) much more doable, and even though there were some real low points with bleakwind storm it ultimately never lost me a set.
Tera Ghost was to discourage fake out and become immune to extreme speed, focus sash is an amazing item and let Torn stick around for longer as well as allowing me to invest heavily into my offenses, and the bulk EVs are to survive Urshifu surging strikes and special attack boosted iron crown tachyon cutter. Leftover went into special attack.
Landorus was the last Pokemon I added, but it played a crucial role in my games. I wanted a psuedo-Amoonguss immune - something that could punish Amoonguss for going for spore without using tera grass or safety goggles. Gholdengo, Ursaluna, and Substitute Landorus all do this, and Landorus fit best here. It was the most important Pokemon vs Raging Bolt, played a key role in my trick room matchup, was useful against Ursaluna, and overall just put out a lot of offensive pressure. It paired well with both Incineroar and Amoonguss as well as Tornadus, letting me play with it at a fast or slow pace. Tera Steel is the best defensive tera for it, and I didn't feel I needed poison. With tera steel bleakwind storm doesn't break your substitute which is important IMO.
I gave it max speed because I wanted to outspeed Glimmora and Adamant Urshifu, and at that point you may as well max out. The bulk is to survive tera dark urshifu wicked blow and special attack boosted expanding force from iron crown with as good odds as possible, and the special attack gets an extra stat point from the nature.
Hope this was interesting to y'all! I have so much work to do on these two videos I haven't even started EUIC yet LOL
