I've always been curious about Homestuck, but can't stand the Mojo Jojo-style longwinded writing. I get that the joke is that it's meant to sound like an older computer game, but it was a chore to read and I dropped it around the beginning of act 2. I'll probably watch your thoughts on it whenever it comes out..

Just joined, I am so excited for this! I was really into the homestuck fandom as a kid during its peak from 2011 to the end. Sadly, you wont experience the actual comic the same way since Flash has died :( There used to be a lot more interaction and a much better user experience on the original mspaintadventures site. The fandom is also pretty much nonexistant now. The best part for me was the lively community of creators on Tumblr, there were so many amazing fan projects and it was fun to see everyone's reaction whenever the comic updated. Regardless, I hope you enjoy your decent into madness and am so looking forward to seeing it! Good luck, and I am sooo sorry about your iCarly video

I love this because I'm actually quite proud that I cannot mentally retain any information about Homestuck - I watched the same full history everyone here seems to have seen and also have no idea whatsover about the plot of Homestuck. So I'm really excited about this video since Quinton seems to have the same experience.

Having just seen another YouTuber review the entirety of Homestuck (and still retaining none of it) I feel like I should warn you that you're coming to it so late that there's parts of it you won't be able to experience. Between broken links and the death of flashplayer, there's apparently a fair bit that is simply inaccessible now. I'm still really looking forward to your video, just thought a warning was in order.

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but the unofficial homestuck collection ( https://bambosh.github.io/unofficial-homestuck-collection/ ) is the best way to read homestuck, cause it actually has all of the working flash animations, along with pretty much everything Andrew Hussie has ever made.

I also know absolutely nothing about homestuck, but I couldn’t have picked a better nerd detective to take that deep dive for me. I’m very happy to be a patron and I’m glad that you keep working on awesome stuff. Keep it up, Quinton!

I think it's great, but I also hope you stick to the one video announcement from forever ago, where you said you were going to make videos YOU want to make. I know you have to pay the rent, and I've liked every video you've done. I just hope when you're having to work on stuff this early that it doesn't give you undue pressure. Looks great though!

I want this video more then any of the other video teases. My only real experience with Homestuck was during its peak popularity many years ago, and some truly awful cosplayers at conventions who made everyone's lives miserable. Now I'm older, wiser, and realize I shouldn't judge an entire fanbase based on it's worst and loudest fans....I'm certainly a fan of things I don't always want to admit due to other fans ruining it. There's obviously a huge number of people who love this, so I would love to see a completely outside take on it.

P.S I can't fucking believe we just bribed Quinton into reading Homestuck. I need to chase this high by bribing even more people to read it.

As someone who was deeply into homestuck as a teen and still has fondness for it today even though I am more aware of its flaws and issues, I am very excited to see your opinion and perspective on homestuck as a newcomer reading it long after it ended. Completely coincidentally I also started reading Homestuck this month (I blame Sarah Z)! I downloaded that program version that's got like all of MS Paint Adventures in it. So far I've read the pre-Homestuck adventures (Jailbreak, Bard's Quest and Problem Sleuth), and for actual Homestuck I've gotten through the first three acts and the first intermission. It's fun so far, and I've only barely started to see those 'troll' characters everyone used to cosplay as. I feel pretty confident I can read it all before you get a video out about it in a few years. XD
