May 2024 Update
Added 2024-05-06 17:30:09 +0000 UTCHello everyone! I apologize for not getting this out in a more timely manner. Thankfully I have an excuse though, I've been hard at work on the SDA video.
Since I have no deadline, I've been taking a slightly different approach to filming and editing this video. Filming has always felt like a daunting task, but even moreso with this video since I had to film myself saying 22k words. In the past, when scripts were only 10-15k, I'd film everything in 2-3 days, averaging 5000 words a day.
This time, I've been filming one shot on the first day, around 4000 words, and I edit those scenes on the next day. It took me somewhat longer to film, but I finished principal photography on this video on Friday. The video is also ~80% assembled already, clocking in at 2 hours and 15 minutes.
For 22401 words, filming at 4k60, I ended up with 12:34:05 of footage taking up 3.84TB of space.
This video will absolutely by done before the end of May. Perhaps even before that. If so, you'll be getting it early and everyone else will be getting it in June.
Just so you know, I am expecting this video to end up being around 2:52:00 long.
