December 2025 Update

Hello everyone!

Production has begun! The posters are up and the lighting has been set.

After my last update, someone reached out wanting to help with the animations/storyboards, so that took a little bit to sort out. But now, I'll have someone professional handling the maps and stuff, which will be super helpful. I've also asked them to redraw my title cartoons and avatar. So be on a the lookout for a complete channel rebrand coming soon!

I'm talking to a few composers to come up with Hawaiian-themed music for this project. I'm also still looking around for voice actors. Finding people who can speak Hawaiian has proven to be a bit of a challenge.

Just before Thanksgiving, I recorded a rough draft audio-only version of the video to be used for storyboards and pronunciation guides. Part 1 ended up being 2:32:37.

We're having some work done on the bathrooms of our house this month, so filming might get delayed. But with that scratch-audio, I'm able to get the broad strokes of editing done. I might even get drafts of Parts 2 and 3 recorded.

In any case, it's finally happening. The video is already being put together! It won't be long now!
