Modular Caves 3 - The open rooms Update

Hey everyone! Today we bring the third update of the Modular Caves pack. Modular Caves Rooms!

Check out the main Modular Caves post here to see all compatible packs.
In the same way we did with Modular Dungeon, now you can create infinitely big caves rooms for a more open combat and underground exploration.

And not only that, but we also added 8 assets that you can use to add more walls and pits to your cave.

Some of the new Room Tiles have corridor exits, so they are completely compatible with the previous Modular Cave releases and can be seamlessly combined with them as always. This is the perfect tool to make a cave exploration that ends in an epic, open boss encounter, or to just have some more open fights underground.

Building note

Due to the nature of this Modular Map, and to reduce the amount of types of tiles to a manageable amount while preserving versatility, you may find this situation while building your cave walls in an obtuse angle, where two wall tiles do not exactly match.
Don't worry, it's like this by design. Just use one of the included "Asset Wall" to cover the corner. It can be used as you want. Here are some examples.

Foundry VTT

As always, the Foundry VTT pack includes every single tile preconfigured with walls, so you just have to drag and drop into the scene and everything is ready-to-play.

We also managed to make it compatible with theripper93 procedural generator! Select if you want rooms in the generation or not, and it will generate a new dungeon automatically.

In fact, the above examples are generated procedurally in Foundry VTT using the generator.

Hey! Glad you find them useful. Reality is that making variations of dozens of tiles is dangeours. The tile numbers and pack sizes would increase exponentially every time we update the pack or add new variations, and they also take a lot of time to make. For that reason we are very careful with the variations we make. To get around that, and to add some variation, we have many Modular Compatible maps with these kinds of variations. For example Cave Ravine Ruins https://www.patreon.com/posts/93463160 have lava, river, grass, and more, variations and most of them can be combined with the main map. That being said, we do have a different Modular Aqueduct / Water Caves / Underground Rivers pack in the list of future releases, especially because it could be combined with the Squid Battlemap among others and it's part of the lore of our world. these are awesome and a huge help. I was thinking it would also be cool to see some modules like underground rivers or more sections that have water, lava or grass.
