But a wolf in her position is expected to stay out of spiritual matters. Agatha welcomes Bjorn, so no taboo has been broken. But it is an obvious power-play. Hilde's position is fraught. She was appointed to lead by outside councils. But she is young and of the low clans. it would normally be Bjorn or Freja in her place. Bjorn's challenge sits haughtily on tradition and the legitimacy that follows. Few of their kind would object. So if Hilde were to react, she would be overstepping her bounds and breaking custom in more ways than one. But to let it slide would lose her face in the eyes of many. What should she do? What can she do?
