A Frustrated Post-Mortem Of Lawbreakers, Radical Heights, And The Culling (The Jimquisition)

Time for one of our classic post-mortems. This time it's not about one game, but three games and the studio responsible for two of 'em.

The Culling II abandoned everything to pursue literally the wrong thing, while Boss Key Productions' Lawbreakers and Radical Heights were just... wow.

That’s true, but it was probably greed on the part of the money guys and not the developers themselves. It’s hard to get people to write paychecks without an example of success already in the marketplace.

I was really expecting an ad at the end for Jim's fortnite twitch stream there.

Great video Jim (as usual). Sadly, I think the reason for them to make those games are greed. That or overconfidence or a combination. Some companies really need to hire a big man to follow the top dogs around. He should yell "NO" and whack him/her in the back of the head with a thick rolled up newspaper, whenever they come up with ideas like these. Repeat as needed. Seriously though, I think the problem might be that no one has the power to or dares to say "Hey boss, your idea will not work, because so and so". Cheers mate
