Crackdown 3 - Crapdown (Jimpressions)

Failing to move the series forward in any significant way, Crackdown 3 is in a crowded open world market surrounded by highly superior games... some of which came out last generation.
Crackdown 3 is an old, tired, slapdash waste of time.

You know I had a fair bit of fun playing the campaign. It should have been better, it had a lot of stupid little flaws, but as someone who enjoyed the previous games (which also could have been better), I knew about what to expect and it was a fun way to spend 10-15 hours. Then I played the multiplayer, and my opinion of the whole package dropped significantly.

2019-02-19 19:03:13 +0000 UTCThe gameplay seems very much like Just Cause 4. Keep pressing W & jump (terrain features don't really matter) and hose down everything you see. The sad thing is that, with such mechanics, most of the level design and all other efforts are wasted / pointless.
