2020-12-22 07:34:43 +0000 UTCSpace opera is fantasy. If you have to completely suspend your sense of disbelief and let in magic (completely unprovable, improbable science,) then it's fantasy. The new BG is very scientifically valid (barring the unnamed vague "him" that doesn't like to be called "god" and of which I am still awaiting a canon explanation; spin-off that never got approved? No, not Caprica.) BTW, Edward James Olmos tacitly agrees with me, in that he stated in interview that he told the producers if he sees one BEM he's quitting the show.
