Maybe it's me but I think some games are getting too big for their own good. CP2077 had a huge open world, vehicle combat, gun and melee combat, an RP system, extensive character customizaion, realistic graphics, endless quests etc and they expected it to all worth together smoothly. Remember Skyrim and how people were laughing at all the bugs. But the games you frequently praise here are smaller games with a tight focus. I'm starting to wonder if it's feasible to make big games and expect them to work well. It's like there's a checklist of options for a game and we're told to just pick 3 items out of 8.
