I like all of James Stephanie's content because they are the one delivering it. I subscribe, support, and watch their videos to see them be them, which is on point, hilarious, and revealing, no matter the topic. I don't think it's fair to ask a creator to create things that you specifically are interested in.

The game industry has gotten a bit weird the last few years, too, this transition to big media but without an actual investment into reporting on it has led us to this situation where the only stories we have are 'hey next big thing' and 'oh, they got caught doing bad thing' which is... frustrating? I don't know where Steph's Jimquisition is going to go, but I bet she'll figure it out.

Dear James Stephanie, I pondered whether I should write a comment for a while, but you saying "this is gonna cost me subscribers because I am losing the larger "gamer(tm)" crowd because they'd rather listen to right wing pundits" feels kind of like missing the point. I discovered you and your channel because of your sharp and concise analysis of the video game industry and its flaws, and because you are less afraid to point out the fundamental problems in the industry (like the widespread abuse) than most other outlets seem to be for some reason. I am also glad that you seem to be feeling a lot better since you transitioned, and I am glad that so many LGBTQ+ people find your example inspiring, it's why I'll keep supporting you, no matter what I'll say next. On the other hand, I have to admit that within the last one and a half years, your content has become less and less interesting to me. This video is, in a way, an example. Thanks to you, I know who Scott Cawthon is, and that he is a dick. But this video ultimately has practically nothing to do with video games, the video game industry or anything in that regard. It's basically "Some queerphobic assholes were trying and failing to be dicks to me on twitter", which is a position I sympathize with, but to be frank, it's neither interesting nor unusual, and the audience that is still with you (myself included) is overwhelmingly going to agree with you that Queerphobia sucks before they watched the video. To the point, I don't watch the channel to hear about queerphobe Americans - I am not American. And if I want to know about the Texas Abortion Ban, someone that says "Abortion good" for 20 minutes really isn't gonna help me understand the issue better, to be honest, there's more sophisticated takes (that come to the same conclusion) around. Sorry if that came off a bit harsh. I still like your videos, and will continue to support you. Just wanted to vent that a little, I guess.

On a side note, I have a condition where my pituitary gland doesn't produce...basically any... testosterone. I've had to do bi-weekly injections to maintain a normal level. It's been a really hard thing to deal with. I have symptoms very similar to bi-polar disorder when I don't have my meds. Was misdiagnosed with that before I had proper blood tests done. This is a long way of saying, it's not the same as you Jim, obviously. But I can empathize with the crazy changes your body goes through when you supplement with hormones. I know how strong you are and how smart. I know you'll fight through all of this too. I love you, I see you and I respect you Jim. Thank GOD for you! -J
