I do hope he misunderstood, saw these things as difficulty aids for like, little kids and new gamers, skill related aids, rather than aids for those with reduced motor function etc. but…maybe he’s just a dick

2023-03-03 14:37:22 +0000 UTCThe fireworks Rhythm game steph was thinking of is boom boom rocket, made by the geometry wars and project Gotham racing devs Also, the accessibility thing Laura talked about with color representing sound for the hearing impaired IS LITERALLY IN ffxiv, as are a fair number of other accessibility options, rendering yoshida’s response regarding ff16 that much more bizarre, as he directs/produces both games. It’s super cool too, the colors migrate around the screen to indicate direction, increase in amplitude to indicate volume, and are color coded per character, damage type etc.

The main character gets less annoying as the game goes on(all dialogue is scripted so he’s not just repeating himself or anything like that), and the gameplay was just as good as any bioshock game. The ending was a let down, and racist old cartoons is lame. But I guess I just don’t understand what the issue is you gals have with it? Is there actual proof that this was funded by the kremlin himself or something? Or is it just all speculation? Anyways, good content as always.
