From the Vocal Line singing in Dimple, to the Rap line joining them for Pied Piper, BTS really outdid themselves with this one! ⭐ To think that RM really wrote Dimple is insane!! His talent is actually crazy! 🤯 And the vocal line executing it so well is amazing🙌🏾 Thank you so much for your support as always guys!! 💜 What did you guys think about the songs and the meanings behind them ? 🤔

2025-04-27 02:07:18 +0000 UTCFrom what I remember about the Pied Piper story there was a travelling Piper who offered to help a kingdom get rid of the rats so he played his flute and they all followed his tune into the river and drowned. The sinister part is when I think the king refused to pay the piper so he played a tune which entranced the children, and when the people of the kingdom awoke the next morning they found all the children missing and the piper nowhere to be found. I believe this song is BTS's warning to ARMY not to turn them into the pied piper? But in a playful way, showing they are also flattered by ARMY's devotion☺️😆

It is THE song, a very nostalgic one and the song that got BTS their first music show win back on 5th May 2015 and this choreography and dance practice is legendary, sharp! Music shows are basically programs on channels where the groups/artists who have recently released songs/albums go onto these music shows to perform and promote their songs. BTS clinched their first music show win approximately 2 years after their debut and it was a long time coming. They were all so overwhelmed and the staff were all so proud as well. 2025-03-31 15:48:01 +0000 UTCSo, fun fact: when I first discovered BTS I hurled myself into the rabbit hole so hard... I barely slept for a month as I consumed as much content as I possibly could. It all blurs together, and I can't tell you what I watched first, or my initial thoughts beyond that I needed to see everything. This moment is clear as a bell though. The first time I found a video of Pied Piper with the lyrics, I was at work, and I had never felt so utterly called out. "One hour will turn into two years?" um, 😳. I adore this song. I love the playful way they are teasing ARMY, pairing the lyrics telling us to pay attention to our responsibilities with their seductive performance. Yup. I knew at that moment I was all in.

2025-03-30 14:20:10 +0000 UTCAs other people have mentioned, Pied Piper is a gentle scolding to army, however I think it's good to note that this came out after bts had started to go on american tv and win western awards and there were sooooo many news articles about "extreme fans" in an attempt to dismiss army and bts so I feel there's a note of sarcasm in it as well, there are obviously dangerous "fans" but the media in the west really framed bts's success as obsessive and dangerous to your children. So I always felt that Pied Piper was sarcastically saying "well we're obviously the guys that are going to ruin your lives". Especially because bts have always been extremely responsible with their messaging of social and personal responsibility. Also I'm just loving the reactions overall guys! :)

Dimple is pure charm—sweet, flirty, and vocally stunning. It always makes me smile no matter how many times I hear it 💜( Ps: What makes Dimple even more special to me is knowing that RM wrote it for the vocal line—but in a way, he was writing about himself, or a version of himself. That little “sinful dimple” and all the charm it carries? It’s playful, a little mysterious, and so full of feeling—just like Namjoon’s way of expressing complex emotions through beautiful, layered lyrics. The fact that he entrusted this song to the vocal line, letting them bring his words to life, makes it even more powerful. It’s like a soft, flirty glimpse into how he sees himself—or maybe how he wants to be seen. No wonder I love this song so much.) And Pied Piper… it’s genius. I love how BTS playfully calls us out while still making it impossible to look away. It’s clever, smooth, and just so them 🎶 These two songs are some of my absolute favorites, and it means so much to see them getting love. Thank you again for including them! 🫶

That's my fave fact about it. He was like, "damn, my dimples are sexy, let me make the vocal line sing about them...but I guess I'll change the subject to a woman." 😂 And Pied Piper!! Totally agree there is a subtle warning in it. Like fans shouldn't be so obsessed with BTS that they forget their own lives and responsibilities. Pls go study lol and have a life outside of fandom. I know I say this every time, but you two consistently amaze me with your videos 😭

In BTS’s version, they’re talking to Army, saying it’s okay to indulge in BTS and their music, but don’t over indulge and get carried away by shirking your responsibilities. It’s like a gentle scolding from them saying “we love you and you love us, but there has to be a balance” 😂 I love both songs and this is the finest performance of them. They all looked fantastic and it was as if they were being intentionally flirty and seductive! 😆
