Don't have a role in my discord server yet? Subbed but not in the discord?

I get asked how to join my discord and how to receive a role quite a bit here. So please read this and be sure you tried it! If you have and it still doesn't work, reach out to me in a dm!
This is how to connect your Patreon to Discord so you can get special roles to see SECRET stuff in the server! Sometimes, people don't know how to do it. If you are subscribed and don't have a subscriber role you're missing out on subscriber only events and channels!
HOW TO CONNECT FROM PATREON TO DISCORD:
Patreon Desktop:
Go to your 'patreon settings' on the left hand side. Go to the "apps" (3rd tab) --> Click on "Discord". It should connect
Patreon Mobile:
Go to a browser that you use and log in to Patreon. Click on the menu icon ≡ --> Settings. There should be tabs at the top that says "Account, Team, Apps, Podcast and aduio..." etc. Click on "Connected Apps". Discord should be available to select to log in.
