2025-10-08 19:19:46 +0000 UTCI love the scenes with Kuroka and Shuri. They’re are like balms on the soul. A lot of authors just don’t know how to balance harems but you do a pretty good job at it. I do think there needs to be some more group activities so it all feels like one big family but that’s the only thing I could add. And we are finally getting to Kyoto and the Mother of all MILFs. I do think we should do the meeting with Azazel first so we can get the Feng Sui Engine and catch up with Penemue first and have another visit with Tiamat first before we do any of that though. Good stuff man and can’t wait for more!

2025-10-08 19:06:37 +0000 UTCIt's up in the air, the reason I didn't decide on Bishop because Shuri was just a regular exorcist, not like genetic freak like Vasco or Xenovia so she does not have that much innate potential. As for Kuroka, probably not, they've been doing this whole Evil Piece long enough to know how to swap pieces around. No mutation piece, I hated those things in DxD canon and will elect to ignore them.

It is good that you show these simple slice of life moments, it can't all be crazy antics, action or sex, so I am all for them. I will say however, I think Shuri should be a Bishop, not a Pawn. She is a magic user, wouldn't the added help with magic power from Bishop be a better fit for her? That is my opinion, but your story. If you do stay with her as a Pawn, then it makes me really curious who will end up as a Bishop. On a side question, Kuroka was a Bishop before, will there be anything special needed to be done to switch her piece to a Queen? Every author I have read has different methods for it, so just curious. And lastly, will her Queen be a mutation piece or is that giving too much away?

2025-10-08 18:52:08 +0000 UTCKuroka is among the strongest Devils barring the Satans. Queens are mostly just your strongest piece that you want to give an even bigger buff to. Yuta does not know Ingvild exists and his contract with Tiamat is a familiar one, she wouldn't accept being a devil.

Her Illusion and Senjutsu would be super effective with Devil magic, but vaste the strongest figure to her isn't smart she isn't game changer power level or some super unique abilities to make her Queen. Ingvild Leviathan or Tiamat would make much more sense in this role, as for me🤷♂️
