2025-08-26 19:49:12 +0000 UTCI had Trypanophobia for decades which was largely the result of reusable needles that were the standard practice when I was a child. Syringes were glass, the needles stainless steel and while sterilized between each use, they were blunt and painful. That said, I’ve overcome my phobia in a pleasurable manner with weekly injections that I give myself. It’s like going skydiving to eliminate a fear of heights.
