You learned alittle bit about 2 of your patrons that night, and our stuggles with the world right now... we are teachers , and we are tired, and we are sad, and we miss our classrooms and our kiddos. Yesterday was a hard day for me, I had a 4 year old that cried and didn't want us to get off our video chat, and she asked and asked when we can go back to school and to her friends.. and all the love I show her during the week resorted to a "I know sweetie, we miss you too and we'll talk again soon ok" . It took everything I had not to cry in front of her... today is another bad day... I teach 3, 4 and 5 year olds... and I have a 2 yr old and a 5 yr old here at home, and 2.5 hours into my day and I'm done. I want to slam my laptop shut and disappear. This is long I know and I apologize for that, but what you created for me that night, for the other teachers, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THAT MEANS TO US . You heard us. And when I can listen to your genuine sweetness and love , it is everything to me. So tonight I'm planning a glass of wine or 2 and some AussieBen 😘
