Back from my travels!

Wow! That is so cool! Getting to visit pieces of history like that is interesting. I was never interested in history as a subject in school, but I loved getting to visit historical sites and landmarks. (And I think the secret to staying sane is just owning the insanity of moment! I tell my kiddos in therapy all the time that everyone is a little crazy, because that's what makes us all different and special!)

My week has been pretty good, although my weekend was hectic! My second job is retail, and we had a big sales promotion, so we were very busy! In my main job, I work with kids on the daily as a therapist and I love it. When I'm at my retail job, kids are often the last thing I want in the store, as half of our store is glass. And due to covid, we now have acrylic paneling up to shield ourselves from our customers. So when kids get restless, scream, and cry, and parents do nothing about it, it echoes so badly and it's hard to hear my customers talk or myself think! I'm told I handle it very well with a lot of patience. And I'm glad that's what people see, because on the inside, I'm going crazy! Lol.
