Group Discussion Time!

I wouldn’t necessarily call these odd talents…but maybe an odd combination of talents…I have a couple actually. Playing the harp and crocheting, weird combination right, lol? I first started learning to play the harp when I was 6. After a year, my teacher retired so no one was there to teach me. So I ended up teaching myself. It was hard and is still hard since I don’t know how to properly read music but I still play for family and friends. I started learning how to crochet a few years ago but I had to stop for a while because I was so busy. When I picked it up again, I didn’t remember how to do anything but my muscle memory kicked in and I started crocheting away! It’s funny how that works haha

Not sure if it's an odd talent or a funny party trick, but I have bent pinkies (born with them - Clinodactyly I think it's called) and it's great for cow impressions and even balancing my phone XD

I have synaesthesia, which (for me) means that letters and numbers have colours. 😅 It's hard to explain to someone who doesn't have it, but when I look at a letter, it has kind of a colourful second layer or aura to it. I guess that sounds odd, but it helps with remembering phone numbers or birthdays and with spelling. For example, my "a" is green (like a dark emerald shade, "A" is darker and more blue-green) and my "e" is red (a bit muddy orangey washed out red, while "E" is brighter and colder, with a shimmering quality from pink to silvery). It's pretty much impossible for me to get them mixed up in spelling, although in German, "ei" does sound exactly like "ai" in a word. 🤣 Not VERY useful, though, because I can sometimes get triggered by words or figures written in wrong colours. 🤪

Yep, the one miss was actually my boss who had a kidney stone (that was not a fun conversation >_>)

I’m not sure what my talent is or if I even have any, but I do have a few hobbies that I can do quite well like drawing and writing. I’m good at learning new languages pretty fast too (I only started to study english recently and I’m doing better then I thought I was going to). I’m super shy but I’m persistent in trying to be more open to people, that counts as a talent right?

When I was around 8/9 there was this day where I learned how to do paper boats and airplanes. I practiced and now I'm able to do a super tiny little boat, airplane, and butterfly (about the size of your pinky fingernail). Currently I'm trying to master the tiny crane

I can mimic accents after watching a show on listening to something on repeat and it will stick with me, I can do an almost perfect ciel phantom hive impression, and a perfect pikachu voice

I don't know if this is considered odd but, I can read someone's aura and... I don't know what or how, but when someone is feeling an emotion, I can tell who it is. (In high school, one of my pack members came to me asking me to find their friend. He said that they were acting weird and he did know how to help. I asked him to tell me their name and described them. When he was finished, and I located them I walked up to them and their emotion was so strong I almost fell to my feet. After an hour we came back to the back and they were feeling better.) Apologies for the long story...

I'm like a reverse human voodoo doll. I get random pains and bruises and I'll ask my sister or a close friend and they've just whanged that body part or have something wrong with that region where the pain was. Most common is my sister with kidney blockages. I tell her and she goes to the urgent care, I'm currently 9/10 on correctness lol

I've been told that I have quite a range in my voice. Very untrained but a few people have pointed it out--even asked if I sang or did voice work. Not in this universe haha!
