Doggo update.

Thank all that is holy. She is most likely going to be okay.

Her toxicity levels are on freefall. The proteins in her blood have normalized. And the liver enzymes in her blood went from almost thirteen times higher than normal, to only six times higher than normal, which most likely means her liver is not failing.

The vet assured me that we're most likely past the point of danger. Now we just need to coast until the meds finish doing their magic, and her levels get homeostatic again.

Honestly, I was so emotional I forgot to take a picture, but she is looking tired but a lot better.

There was a very real possibility that her liver would just outright fail even with all the meds, so, it's a big load off my mind. To everyone who sent me a wish, a good vibe, a prayer or a spell. Thank you.

Thank goodness I can afford pet insurance, otherwise I'd be about nine thousand dollars in the red. I'm still gonna have to pay a chunk of that, so I'm very motivated to not miss my deadline for you guys.

...I also had to delete the one paragraph I had, because I ended up switching the direction the chapter was going to go, and it no longer fit. So...yeah, gonna do my best to write for you lot, cause y'all's goodwill is the thing that's gonna pay for my dog's medical bills.

Man if its not one thing it's another.
