Sorry it hurt so bad, but happy to see someone react similarly to myself. This one is hard to watch on my own, and is one of the best, imo, of the Buffyverse. Not my favorite to rewatch, but if I have friends get to this ep I know they will finish S1.

Oh well, I have already watched Angel when it aired, but I forgot this episode probably for the same reason you Sofie want to forget it, and now I started my Saturday crying my eyes out....fantastic!! Also now I remeber one more thing, when Sara Michelle Gellar shows vulnerability is unparalleled, she is a damn good actor.

I know. I always try to hear him say "Sarah," but I'm never sure. Which is why it works. I think it if was too obvious, it would take us out of the story.

Ah, yes. The Buffy giveth, and the Buffy taketh away. And apparently, she can't even leave it to her own damned show. LOL I heard that, in addition to SMG getting so emotional that they had to shut down the set like Samiah said, due to her being so distraught, David accidentally said "Sarah, please," instead of "Buffy, please." I feel like there are two most important lessons we learn from these shows, ones which no other show teaches so well as Buffy and Angel. One, we learned when Jenny Calendar died in season two. No one, no one, in the Buffyverse has plot armor. And two, here, we learn that no one can be happy for long.

Someone said that Sarah was so invested into the last scene that she got really emotional. David broke character for a moment to comfort her. You can see him saying "please Sarah, please" at 17:01 in part 2. Knowing this broke me even more😭I too wish I could forget that this episode happened... I never noticed the clock ticking before. At least I don’t think I have. And that was one of the first scenes with Buffy in this episode. They literally tell us straight from the beginning to start counting down to misery and pain…telling us to not get too used to Buffy being in Angel’s bubble for too long. Great reaction!!! And yeah, Sarah was freaking amazing.
