I forgot how huge this episode was...I like this season even for all the drama, it's very well made

Its so interesting to me how Nathan and Lucas both have such different relationships with Dan. It is very easy for Lucas to completely write Dan off. Unlike Nathan, Lucas was close with Keith (basically his father) and never had Dan as a father. I love the complexity of Nathan's relationship with Dan. Because although Dan was emotionally abusive to him and killed his uncle, Nathan obviously still loves him and wishes he could have had a relationship. I think that this is evident in how Nathan couldn't speak against Dan at the parole hearing and how he visited him in prison (I know Nathan says its because he wanted to tell Dan that he was "Done" with him but in that case, he would have just left him alone like Lucas did. Instead, he came to Dan to talk out his problems and maybe look for fatherly advice....

Also, Haley is a boss for the way that she threw Carrie out of the house by her hair during the shower scene

Yeah Owen didn't know Rachel. I think that some people just call others "baby" and "babe" without any meaning behind it. Just casually.

What an intense scene! Yeah the past few months had already not been good on Haley, then Carrie coming in and basically turning Jamie against her, and then Nathan's lying! I think divorce is obviously a stretch but imagine the emotions built up in that scene and what she must've been feeling, especially after her own son just said he wishes someone else was his mother. Can I just say Joy and James were acting their asses off. Time and time again OTH proves to be the best teen drama out there, the writing is so good
