Oth will always be my comfort show. It feels like a family to me even with characters who have flaws. I love them all, they all make one tree hill. The actors and actresses hit different with this show and there's no show to this day that will ever match the vibes, story and feeling to one tree hill. It stands out on its own and nothing compares to it

2022-02-21 06:41:48 +0000 UTCThe whole situation with Dan just breaks my heart. Not for Dan, of course. But for Nathan and Jamie, and even Haley. It is so clear that part of Nathan still wants Dan in his life, still wants to be able to call him up and talk to him, wants him to know Jamie, wants to be able to just have him over for dinner. Part of him still loves him, but part of him also HATES him. Like, Dan hurt him so much his whole life, and then to top it all off he killed Keith. And Jamie wants to know Dan so much, he's not really aware of the situation, he knows Dan did something bad, but he doesn't really know WHAT he did. He doesn't know he killed Keith. I don't think he really knows what kind of Father he was to Nathan, and even Lucas. He's really smart, but he's still a kid. It's horrible. And Haley too. She wants to support Nathan with whatever he needs, and she wants Jamie to be able to know his Grandfather, she just doesn't want Dan to know Jamie. And both Nathan and Haley have to think about not only themselves, but Jamie too. That scene with them and Lucas always makes me so sad, because Lucas is understandably perfectly fine with Dan dying. He doesn't care, and he's just waiting for it to finally happen. And he just can't understand why Nathan might not feel the same way, because he knows how much Dan hurt Nathan, and he also despises him for killing Keith, so the idea that anyone could be feeling sadness over this just doesn't make sense to him, it's not even a possibility in his mind. And I just can't blame him... I adore the friendship Q has with the Scott family so much! He and Nathan really are so similar, and I love that Nathan is able to help him become a better version of himself, I feel like it's weirdly therapeutic... Mouth and Millie are adorable! <33
