You said something about Marcel not being as scary/intimidating as Klaus, but I think that's the point? He doesn't want to be like Klaus, he wants to be better, which is why he un-daggered him when he felt like he'd suffered enough, Klaus would've let someone suffer indefinitely. There are plenty of similarities with them in the way they handle things, but when it comes to empathy, compassion, and being fair/reasonable - Marcel far exceeds Klaus.

Shorter seasons now, It's hard to fathom but if we think of it this way, we are 2 episodes short of the end of the show if it had conventional 22eps this season, end is coming quick ;(

I also loved Haley this episode , and the scenes with her and Elijah 🥹 Joseph Morgan plays looking miserable really well , I loved his scenes with Marcel and Vincent. Can’t wait for the upcoming episodes ❤️
