Black sails would be awesome in the future. Very short, like 4 seasons with 10 episodes a season. Amazing writing and characters.

Black Sails is a masterpiece and it's a shame so few channels are reacting to it. I would love to see Sophie's reactions to it, because she is very observant and notices a lot of details.

I'd LOVE to hear Sofie's commentary on Black Sails, but sadly it's a less popular show that probably wouldn't get great viewership, and unfortunately a lot of people struggle to get past S1 to see the show's phenomenal heights. It's perfect for her observational nature though!

My preconceived opinion about "The Last of Us" came from the fact that the show is based on a video game. I came very close to ask if someone here could prove me wrong but I thought that my commentary was already long enough. Also, for the same reason, I didn't include "Rome" which was my next choice. You are definitely more than welcome to do whatever you want with your money, but The Last of Us (which Sofie is covering next) is definitely not a teen show. I've seen most of the shows on your list and they are good, but not really Sofie's style. I would've suggested HBO's criminally underrated gem Carnivàle, a dark fantasy/supernatural series that wouldn't feel out of place on Sofie's channel. Or HBO's Rome, which was basically Game of Thrones without the fantasy elements.

This Sofie’s announcement signals my imminent departure from Sofie's Patreon account. GOT and HOTD were the only two series for adults while the others were aimed more at teenagers. And I don't define adult vs adolescent by sexuality vs fantasy but rather by the difference in general maturity of the content. I haven't been a teenager for a long time. Sofie's parents might not even have been born at the time. And, while I'd love to encourage Sofie's great reactions, my budget dictates that I don't spend money on things that don't get me anything back. Before signing off, I would like to leave, in disorder, some suggestions that might interest a more mature clientele: "Boardwalk Empire". In the American criminal world at the time of prohibition. Few reactors. "Peaky Blinders". More recent series, also in the criminal world, but in England. A delight. "Band of Brothers". Based on real events of World War II. Lots of reactors but there are never too many for such a masterpiece. Only 10 episodes. "Black Sails". Pirate story. Underestimated, complex and exotic series. "The Leftovers". Very original basic idea and equally original treatment. Few reactors. Three seasons. "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul". Unmissable masterpiece but lots of reactors. "Fargo". The series, not the movie. Violent, completely crazy, magnificent. "Downton Abbey". It is not the place but the time period and especially the social class that are exotic. A little too soapy novel but I liked it anyway. "Detectorists". A comedy. A pearl few have seen outside of the UK.

If you ever want to react to another teen drama, I’d suggest Dawson’s Creek. It’s the same creator/showrunner as the Vampire Diaries. It ran on the WB during the same years as Buffy. Both those shows were praised as the best WB shows of the time. It’s just really wholesome and has such an epic love story too :)
