If it makes you feel better they were planning on killing Josh off the first season he had appeared in, but thanks to the overwhelming positive feed back from the fan base they decided to keep him for as long as they did so if anything we got to see a more complex and great Josh than had the fans not cared for him😅 crazy no one commented on his death, I do dislike that davina didn’t get to say goodbye Ik marcel was very close to him but davina was like his sister and first friend he made while I’m New Orleans, RIP josh

2023-09-25 20:32:18 +0000 UTCThey didn’t power Marcel down. Witches>vampires. Only reason witches couldn’t do anything against lucien is because he had the ancestors on his side. Marcel doesn’t so he is just as weak to magic as Klaus and any other vampire.
