They banished the wraith to the Enchanted Forest, where Philip etc encountered it. What happened to Phillip was cleverly not a flashback, but ahead of present day (flashforward, if you will) until it synced up at the end. Hope that helps!

2023-12-02 15:54:14 +0000 UTCOhh, it will be interesting to see what they do for Mulan's backstory. considering in her story she is from actual "real world" ancient China and one would assume China doesn't exist in the world of the enchanted forest. I can't wait to see what they do with her!
