Arcane replacment

I'd prefer BLUE EYE SAMURAI, the only animated series that dazzled me as much as Arcane: I've rarely been so immersed (it is 16th century Japan); mature, deep and super qualitative plot. Subtle, magnificent, instructive... You would loooooove it Sofie, trust me!โ

I also think if you do the world of anime, I'd juggle between genres because some can be intense and I think it'd be nice for you to enjoy other genres. The first two choices are great choices but both dark. The world of anime is large, and it'd be nice to see which part calls to you. also curious if you planned Eng, or Eng subtitles. Some Eng Dub are really bad lol. For A rom-com style I think you'd enjoy NANA, for something poetic I suggest Demon Slayer. Something just fun and dear to most anime communities would be anything done by Hayou Miyazaki. Super excited to see what type of shows you try out.
