ngl it's really frustrating how quickly people are to assume the worst of regina. like, she had an instinctive emotional reaction and regressed a little bit, but we've also seen her grow and change over the course of several seasons, and look how quickly she did the right thing despite her feelings, and how quickly she moved on from her "plan" to kill marian (which, let's be real, seems way more like angry+heartbroken bluster than actual Evil Planning when you stop and give her the credit she's due for all the growth she's had) and onto a more constructive + non-evil plan. and even in her initial heartbroken rage, she didn't actually do anything particularly evil (besides putting sidney back in the glass; admittedly not her finest moment, she shouldn't have done that and i definitely won't defend it). it sliiiiightly frustrating that no one ever gives her the benefit of the doubt after all the effort she's put in and after she was literally the one to save the day with light magic and true love last season

I know season 3 is great & more popular among the fandoms, but there’s something special about season 4.
