I don't think that's true. Of course, he needed her but he gave that monologue for a reason. I think he wanted her to join him for real.

Sooooo funny - I had the exact same thought: I hope Nancy is hearing his incredible monologue simultaneously through space/time bc El doesn’t know what the word lie means yet… He might as well have been speaking to a telekinetic golden retriever. Also, I don’t think he actually cared for her, as much as he was grooming her and manipulating her for his own freedom. He probably would have put her in a glass jar if he could have… Amazing episode and great reactions to the reveals.

2024-08-04 18:11:50 +0000 UTCHonestly don't get suggesting trailers for reactors, and why people are so eager to give the people they are paying any extra info of something they are in future going to film themselves reacting to for us always kinda blow my mind. :( spoilers or no i don't know what the appeal is in showing off bits of scenes they've not seen when you're only like a week or two from them seeing it anyway.

Jamie is a phenomenal actor this role was meant for him. Love the Steve and gang - upside down moments they're so fun. Steve - Eddie friendship is so cute I love how both of them adore Dustin so much it's so wholesome. Above all Hopper- Joyce reunion was so well done with the music it was even more amazing 😭 Hopper- Enzo their bond is again so precious. Last 2 to gooo.

I'm really glad he gets to play a major villain because he's so convincing. And the plot twist was actually so unexpected and phenomenal.
