2024-08-01 06:59:25 +0000 UTCsomething to notice about Rhaenyra this episode remember the scene where she talks about the dream of Aegon with Jace as she tells the story she mentions that her father think she is the ONE to stand against the darkness and she must be seated on iron throne but we know thats not true since Viserys was just passing the story based on tradition also when the kings guard burns trying to claim Seasmoke she feels desperate almost losing hope but the Seasmoke gets a new rider and when Addam says this an act of god she actually believes it when she talk to the dragon keepers she says God put this people at my disposal but the dragon keepers says no it was you who did it and it has nothing to do with the gods when she talks to Jace in this episode she say that i cannot ignore the path the gods laid upon me she almost sound religious right? when it is the exact opposite of her character in season one thats why you see her wearing a gown that looks like something a priest would wear and it was actually Emma Darcy idea to wear this we all know she will die before the threats from north rises so she is completely wrong about this, she is not the ONE, she was not chosen but the fact that she believes it she might use this greater good as an excuse to do whatever possible to achieve this goal just like in this episode where she burn 40 people to get what she wants

But the show mentioned his mother to be sister to Viserys and Daemon's dad, Baelon, and that she was a wh*re in a pleasure house. In the books King Jaehaerys and Queen Alysanne had a daughter Saera Targaryen. She was rebellious and had several sex scandals. She was eventually sent to Old Town to join the Faith of the Seven to become septa but she escapes from there and go to Essos where she lives her life in a pleasure house (it's said that she even wore the Septa's dress while "working"). She had few bastards. Some of them even came to Great Council in Harrenhal, the election for Jaehaerys' heir where Jaehaerys declared Viserys to be his heir based on the voting. So Hugh is the bastard son of Saera Targaryen. Jaehaerys was so fed up that he even admitted she's a wh*re when Queen Alysanne spoke for her. They tried to lock her up in Red Keep but it didn't work, she escaped, tried to steal a dragon. Hugh refered to Baelon as his mother's brother and not a half-brother. So Vermithor was Hugh's grandfather Jaehaerys Targaryen's dragon first. Now his grandson's. The actor who plays Hugh and the show runner of the show confirmed in an interview that Saera Targaryen is High's mum.
