Update on Updates V2

While it is true I do post "Update on Updates" --it's simply to be transparent about what is happening and trying to be communicative.
Over the past 6 years of doing this site once i moved to Friday updates I always laid down the stipulation that the updates might sometimes come on Saturdays. I may have missed a Friday/Saturday Update maybe 3-4 times over the last 5 years and on those moments I stil make the updates that week on a Sunday or Monday.
In general I upload on Friday like clockwork 90% of the time, unless life gets in the way. It takes me 12 hours to letter and do everything I need to do in the comix so it is a considerable time commitment.
It is true that I work through the week Monday-Thursday at my primary job, It does sometimes require me to work on Fridays and has over the years.
Stuff does come up. Internet outage, Sickness, Family stuff, Health stuff-- but I TRY-- TRULY to do it EVERY FRIDAY. 52 weeks a year.
I know that you pay a lot of money to be patrons and I take that very seriously, I CARE.
I adore all of you and know that lots of you have been here with us for YEARS.
I always try my best to do as much quality control, elevate our art and work hard on the writing because I care-- Because YOU deserve it
I have been working on the updates since this morning and will start posting soon.

The haters are wasting everybody's time. If theyre haters why are they even here? Do they not know how stupid it is to pledge money to a creator they supposidly hate and take the time & effort to write comments and send DMs? My goodness where to such people come from? Lol

I would like you to rather take your time than to rush. Rushing leads to shoddy work or shoddy health. This is to all the Patrons: chillax. We get a lot of stories here with an upload schedule I personally would not want to do myself. Just think about your work. Ever had a project schedule with a deadline the day before yesterday? This is supposed to be fun here.

I have been on this site at least 5 years and most weeks Devin posts on Friday and usually if on Saturday and Sundays those are additional material. To not post at all on a Friday is rare and as somebody else said above he has a whole other job outside of this, and I personally don't have an issue with just a day or two later. :-)

2024-10-19 16:16:03 +0000 UTCHe is also running a service to be fair, and let's be honest, it's not a cheap one. I do think he is very inconsistent for the price it costs... I realise there aren't loads of similar options out there, but I don't see why he should be immune to criticism! I can't tell you how many of these 'update on update' posts we see, it feels like most weeks!
