Dear Patrons- A Question about our future.

Dear Fans, Patrons, and Comic Enthusiasts,

I hope you're all doing well! I wanted to reach out with an important update about the future of our comics and how we can keep creating the content you love.

Due to recent changes on Patreon, along with potential challenges on the horizon, I’ve been reflecting on the best way to move forward. While Patreon has been an incredible platform for sharing my work, its evolving policies, integration with Apple iOS, associated fees, and payout complexities have made it difficult to guarantee consistent support for my team and our projects.

To ensure our comics thrive without being overly dependent on Patreon, I’m proposing a new approach. Moving forward, I’m considering launching a separate crowdfunding campaign for sequel series like Spinning Out of Control 2, Hen Night 3, Mostly Black College V, ETC. This would allow me to secure dedicated funding for these projects, making them less vulnerable to Patreon’s policy changes.

Here’s the plan:

This approach ensures that our sequel series get the funding they need while keeping the steady stream of content you’ve come to expect. I believe this is a fair way to balance creative freedom with financial stability, but I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Though nothing is set in stone yet I'd love to hear your thoughts.

What do you think of this plan? Your feedback means the world to me, and I’m excited to keep building this comic journey together.

Thank you for your continued support,
Devin Dickie & Team.

I'm all for you moving to something that removes restrictions on your stories and increases profits/lowers fees.

Is there another ongoing donation platform like patreon that you could slowly migrate too? You could parralel post there, but maybe offer a discount or some exclusive one off comics for people to take the time to sign up and switch over, that way everyone doesn't have to migrate all over at once
