A Crossroads for Our Comics

Dear Patrons,

I hate change as much as anyone, but something has to give. Piracy has hit us hard this year, and it’s no longer just an annoyance—it’s threatening our survival. Unlike solo creators, we employ artists on contracts, and their livelihoods depend on this work. With fewer than 100 paying patrons and two months of operating at a loss, I’m at a breaking point. I’m considering quitting comics entirely.

We have two paths: scale back drastically, like Femdom & Beyond, or try something new. I’m choosing to fight for our work with a new approach. To combat piracy, I’m testing a password-protected system to ensure our content stays exclusive for you—our patrons, our supporters. This work is special because of you, and I want to keep it that way. By using the chat, a few of my creator friends have been able to curtail autonomous scraping sites from robbing us in a few seconds, since said sites don't have access to the Patreon's Community Chat.

Right now, your tier access remains unchanged, and I’m experimenting with new ideas this month, including BONUS password content for those who joined our recent chat—thank you to those of you for showing up on the chat. But I need your help to keep going. I pour everything into this site, posting 10 updates weekly without breaks, vacations, because I owe it to our artists, our community, and you. But losing money isn’t sustainable.

I’m asking you to go old-school fandom: stick with us, and go the extra mile if you love these comics as much as I love making them. I’m still figuring out the details, but your support now could mean the difference between our content thriving or disappearing.
