Puck being comedy relief is nice, but I think it's more like Berserk trying to do a One Piece and mixing the hilarious and the dark stuff together. I think it doesn't work well in Berserk.

hey dan if you take a break go ahead i would just recommend (for your own sanity) finishing the lost children arc first, you are not too far off and it will help you reflect without getting destroyed, it´s probably my favorite arc of the story and it sets up well for what´s about to come (which will have it´s up and downs narratively/humorwise but i´m sure you´ll love it when it all comes to they payoffs)

Thanks for taking the time to put out another berserk video Daniel, health always comes first so take whatever time you need off, hope you get better soon. And to answer about the panels in question, action in manga can be very hard to understand sometimes because obviously there’s only so much a mangaka can convey in terms of motion, so I usually just tend to go with whatever flows best in my mind.

One thing I really give Berserk credit for is setting up minor side characters that you really care about. Even in that dark world there are good people and reasonably sound people that makes the world spinn. I also liked how Guts was builtup into a person who wanted to walk away and then was teared down. And in meating Puck he is met with an eternal optimist that pretty much forces him to see the world in a bit better light again. Great storytelling and pacing.

You should never have to apologize for taking a break for mental health reasons let alone STILL PUT OUT CONTENT. You’re a legend Daniel, hope you get back to feelin 100% 👍🏻👍🏻
