But, I trust you and I listened to the video and found myself interested. Will I read the book? Haven't decided especially as I still have 2 more books to read in the WHEEL OF TIME series. But I am interested enough to want to know how it all ends. So I do look forward tp your next video. Thanks for extending my horizons. But, LAN died? There should be law that NO ONE NAMED LAN DIES in any story.

2025-10-13 19:24:24 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed this, I ironically just finished like my 4th re-read/listen of this book a week before this came out and its all fresh in my mind so I think you did a good job covering everything. It's kinda funny hearing how you pronounce things different than the audible reader, like you say “A-boo-key” when they pronounce “A-boo-KAE” but that doesn’t ruin anything, just kinda funny. The only thing I would suggest either with this one or moving forward in the future is when you do cut away scenes, like the one you did min 55-56ish when your reading the fight scene with Hilo, having the background of the fight scene from the movie(s) is cool but it was a little too loud and made it hard to listen to you reading, so it took extra brainpower to pay attention to what you were saying. So maybe just watch that in the future (as one nerdy video editor to another) But all in all, great job!

Like, we all would probably like a Sanderson adaptation, but this book series feels like it'd hit that sweet spot of people that want a good crime drama with the fantasy aspects. Also, Editor Kayla....we might need a "Bad AHHHHSSSSS" counter for this series.

Their influence in the government might like from a moral perspective, be considered corruption, but none of this is like behind closed doors.

She is the best at having you fall in love with characters and then rip your heart out. I had to put her book down and take a week break to mentally prepare myself for the end of Jade Legacy
