Monthly Patron Commissions
Added 2021-08-16 12:27:00 +0000 UTCI need your input! I have two options for you and I would like to know which one(s) you prefer.
As I mentioned previously, for each dollar you pay monthly, you get a "cookie" that you can use (or not) for the monthly commissions.
For example, Jimmy is a Tier 3 Patron and has paid $6 over two months. They get 6 cookies. Jenny is a Tier 1 Patron and has paid $4 over four months. They get 4 cookies.
How to spend these cookies for some delicious written smut, you ask? I got two propositions.
1 - All Cookies Spent: Every month, I send out a message to every Patron to see who is interested. Whichever Patron has the most cookies wins the contest and is back to 0 cookies. The advantage of this method is that we make sure everyone gets a turn and it avoids older Patrons blocking newer Patrons from getting the commission.
2 - Secret Bidding: Every month, I send out a message to every Patron to see who is interested. If interested, Patrons reply with how many cookies they'd like to bid. Whichever Patron bid the most cookies wins and "spends" however many cookies they bid. Those who didn't win won't lose cookies. The advantage of this method is that those who really want the commission will be able to spend as many cookies as they feel is appropriate (or their whole cookie jar!)
