The first picture is a reference from Niko https://bsky.app/profile/nikodraws.bsky.social You can see some changes I suggested before Lizard Soup https://bsky.app/profile/lizardsoup.bsky.social made the Gideon we all know today.
Also one of the many references for Gideon's armor. Gideon's victory pose is inspired ala Crono's from Chrono Trigger. There is also a sketch I made personally many, many moons ago.
