I am finally working with a DRUMMER!

Well, a multi-instrumentalist (far more multi than yours truly) I discovered through a Susumu Hirasawa cover video and been meaning to reach out to and finally did so some weeks ago!

Not only is he be drumming and re-arranging, the man wants to mix the entire thing too because he is also a fellow sound engineer (I feel dominated!). The above mix is not the final one tho, part of his arrangement demo for me.

In the above example he ended up joining with the Face Dancer Techno part I didn't expect him to live drum over (I actually did haha). I have a thing for drum machines competing with live drummers (been listening to a lot of Algiers recently).

And at the end you can also here the Roman Senate Laugh Track developed by my man Tryp Kingsley (you heard him in Who Let The Dogs Out). Now that the main music theme is arranged I know that the center-piece montage is around 5 minutes and then it is the wedding peregrination sequence which is slower in pace so 7 minutes+? We'll see.

I've been moving a lot because I don't have much long stay options in places. Got to a ride in a police car in Chengdu!
