After a bunch of brainstorms and page prototypes, I saw a good opportunity here...
I’m gonna switch things up a bit with how I’ve been telling the story. Felt like there was too much mystery and not enough clarity in some parts, lol. And it took forever to explain stuff (when I actually did).
For now, a short story, going back to those first few weeks Becca was stuck in her apartment, right after Industrial and a bit before Rehearsal. Those first real conversations with the Breeder, while Susie slowly starts showing up to help with everything. That way, we get to figure things out with Becca.
First pages are pretty much done and hope you like it!

Hoi friend! I had some pretty serious setbacks with my grandmother’s treatment, and since it’s through the public health system, things are insanely bureaucratic here in Rio. It’s just me and my mom taking care of everything, so we’ve had to take her to a lot of places and deal with tons of paperwork... not sure how far the news spread, but over the past few months there’ve been several police operations around here, and one of the targets was near my grandma’s clinic. Luckily, we managed to move her to another clinic closer to home just in time. So this month, things are getting back on track with the content!
