James Earl Jones (Terrence Mann) is very famous for his voice. He was the voice of CNN, and he also was the voice of Darth Vader in the original movies. (4, 5, and 6)

Completely out of left field but Ed Harris is "The Voice" in this film. Didn't know until now π

This movie hits you straight in the heart. That ending. No matter how many times I watch it, it makes me feel the same.β€π

I never watched this movie because I don't like baseball. I watched your reaction because it's a really popular movie and I wanted to see if you would like it. This was a great movie, I never knew all this time. I really liked your reaction.

I watched this movie for the first time with this video, and I'm not looking to offend anyone, but it was surprisingly corny (no pun intended) and quite cringeworthy. I'm puzzled about how it gained such popularity. Personally, I wish I hadn't seen it. lol But great reaction ladies!

Its amazing how little I care about base ball but how much I love watching this movie. It gets me every time. The way you get to discover and experience everything right along with the characters. Great story and a great movie.

Wonderful reaction ladies! As a long time admirer of the beauty of Vietnam and your diverse cultures, it was really special to see you guys get a look at MY home and my culture, if a bit skewed by the fantasy aspect of the film. You see, I was born and raised in Iowa and live here still. Of course we have our little towns and a few modest cities here and there, but there are thousands of little farm houses like this all over the area, with rolling fields a common theme. In fact I grew up 30 minutes from where this movie was filmed and where The Field of Dreams can still be visited, to this day. It's amazing the way the Internet has brought so many different cultures together, especially among people who are proud of their own culture, and yet respectful and even appreciative of the cultures of others.
Outside of the jab at Iowa City, suggesting it's boring (it's most certainly NOT boring) this has always been a favorite of mine and many Iowans. I've travelled all over the world in my life, but I always end up back here in Iowa. Wouldn't trade it for the world.
As Dorothy would say, there's no place like home...

The Postman is a wonderful movie. Not every wonderful movie is wonderful for everyone. A lot of people didn't really enjoy it, which is fine. But a lot of people who did enjoy it absolutely loved it. Who knows why different movies resonate differently with different people? To each his own, I suppose.

I think the Munchies would really love ROCKY. It involves boxing, but the movie is more about believing in yourself and also a love story. Check it out, Munchies.

While there are plenty of sports movies to choose from and many revolve around baseball, this is one of my favorites. I cry everytime because I played through high school and my dad was my coach until I was about 16. He died soon after but my times spent with him going to practice and playing the games meant so much to me and this film brings those memories rushing back over me like a waterfall. Thank you for reacting to this.

I disagree. I think "The Postman" is a very boring movie and I don't think the Munchies would enjoy it.

Kevin Costner movies are great. βThe Postmanβ is an amazing film. Takes place in an alternate timeline where society has to rebuild. He is a mailman/postman in this post apocalyptic world without technology. Pretty interesting!

I never saw the movie. To be honest, I liked it a lot. So much so that I'm adding it to my collection. I just ordered the Blu Ray.
