What's next?

If you're a paid reader here, then you can see we're fast approaching the end of the third book! Things are heading toward resolution now, and while I'm not 100% sure how many chapters remain, I've been aiming for about 190 for a while now. The book will end somewhere between chapter 188 and 191, for sure.

So, what's next? For the time being, we are leaving Selena and her crew behind at the end of this book, but we're not leaving the Magipocalypse. Instead, I have quietly begun work on another story, starting from the moment the Event occurred, but set in the Boston area instead of in Vermont.

When this book ends, I'll be dropping several chapters of the new story at once to give you all a nice, solid taste of what's coming! This is going to be a good story - a complex one, with a new hero, a new setting, and a disaster of truly epic proportions looming as magic hits a region with a couple million people living there. Where Vermont's smaller population and nearby farmland made survival a little easier, Boston will be something else entirely.

Anyway, I'm still getting those initial chapters done, but now you have something to look forward to, once these final few chapters of the Accidental Necromancer are complete.
