Excuses for the Delay

I’d like to apologize once again for the increasing gaps between updates recently.

At first, I thought I’d be able to post quickly using the new model, but the more I worked with it, the more small things started to bother me. I kept tweaking and adjusting, trying to find results I was truly satisfied with—but to be honest, I haven’t quite reached that point yet.

In the end, it all comes down to the art style. Since I can’t fully replicate the previous model's look, it’s been a source of hesitation. That said, there’s a good chance I’ll be able to resolve this issue soon. If not… I suppose I’ll have to adapt to something new.

I’ve also been thinking about how to structure my content. Originally, I focused on creating a large number of illustrations, hoping at least one of them would feel right. I couldn’t even consider complex character interactions at the time.

However, with the recent model change, things have shifted dramatically. Detailed scenes now feel more demanding, and even slight distortions stand out more. It definitely requires more creativity.

As someone who consumes content myself, I do understand that it's often better to post frequently, even if the uploader pays a little less attention to every detail. But once I’m on the creator’s side, it’s not so easy. Ironically, trying to craft more elaborate scenes has led to more abandoned works due to unnecessary perfectionism.

Anyway, this time the delay has been quite long, so I wanted to share some thoughts. I just wanted to let you know that I’m not neglecting things—I'm simply wandering a bit right now, and it’s taking time. I’ll do my best to pull things together soon.

最近、更新の間隔が空いてしまっていること、改めてお詫び申し上げます。

最初は新しいモデルですぐに投稿できると思っていましたが、いじればいじるほど少しずつ気になる部分が出てきてしまいました。そうなるとまた修正して、また修正して… 納得のいく結果を求めて大半の時間を費やしてしまいますが、正直まだ完全に満足できる仕上がりにはなっていません。

結局は絵柄の問題です。以前のモデルとまったく同じにはできず、その違いが迷いの原因になっています。ただ、この問題については近いうちに解決できる可能性もあります。もしダメなら…新しいものに慣れていくしかないですね。

コンテンツの構成についても最近よく考えるようになりました。もともとはたくさんのイラストを作って、その中に1枚でも気に入るものがあればいい、というスタンスでした。キャラクター同士が絡むシーンなんて考えもしませんでした。

しかし最近モデルを変更したことで、その辺りにも大きな変化がありました。具体的なシーンではちょっとしたズレが気になったり、より創造力が求められるようになっていて、いろいろと思い悩んでいます。

私自身、コンテンツを楽しむ側としては「投稿者が少し神経質にならずとも、ある程度の頻度で更新してくれるほうが嬉しい」ということはよく理解しています。ですが、いざ自分が作る側になると、そう簡単にはいきません。むしろ具体的なシーンを作るようになってから、余計なこだわりでお蔵入りになるものが増えてしまいました。

とにかく、今回はかなり遅くなってしまったので、ちょっとした言い訳を並べてしまいましたが、サボっているわけではなく、少し迷走している状態で時間がかかっているだけだということをお伝えしたかったのです。
近いうちにしっかり整理できるように頑張ります。😅
