New Art Inspiration for Starting Area!

Anytime I have a new revelation on the game, I like to post it here first because it's you who have believed in this project from the start.

The base engine of the game is done. There's probably still some minor bugs yet to be fixed but nothing too terrible. The next goal is to complete the first area of the game, implementing everything the game engine is capable of here. The first area is important because it will be a template and establish all other areas of the game. Think of it as the master area in which all other areas will evolve.

With that in mind, I was looking at the starting area enemies and while fun, cute and whimsical. They we're was missing a level of grit and badassery which I also love. So above are some works in progress I did this week of possible characters that will make their way into the game. ( This is all still in Flash and needs a photoshop pass over ) Once in Photoshop they'll have even more detail and shading.

I've also included the concept sketches in which I'm working from!

I'll still have my cute/sexy art style, I'm just adding an extra ingredient! Kickassery!

Oh forgot to mention Demonkiss will be an NPC that sells you shite hence the front facing art. She'll also have a idle animation in this form.
