That interaction with his old friend toward the end is my favorite moment of the entire season. For a few seconds there, Gi-Hun, lovable loser and apparently cheapskate, was back. Even as he was protesting his friend, he became a completely different person from his current self. It's a master class of acting. I miss that guy. This scene tells us that he is still there, buried under layers of grief and resolve. I hope one day, we see him again, and that he comes back out to stay.

2025-03-06 21:22:19 +0000 UTCIf you watch it again, the frontman is left handed - he threw the top twice with his right hand and then when he did it correctly it was with his left hand. Also, his team went last for the specific reason that they wouldn’t have to kill him since there was no audience. They likely would have killed the other team even if they won and his team lost just to keep him alive without witnesses.
